So this is... different. Might be helpful to explain.

I love Dungeons & Dragons. RPGs are great fun, especially with a group of good friends. I also love People of Unusual Size (I do believe they exist). I also love really weird story conceits with wacky characters.

If this goes anywhere (it might, it might not), it's going to be a comedy series set in a Kinda Generic D&D Fantasy World. I've given the outline of a party here, which will be introduced in coming stories (this will probably be episodic a la The Elegant Cid). This time, we're primarily meeting our main character. A spirit plucked from the ether who gets to become a player character! She's going to be the greatest warrior in history! Except...

Marigold Sunshower is a character who's been living in my head for a looooooooong time--she predates Cid, Daphne, the whole gang. I imagined playing as her in a campaign, but she works within the conceit here.

I threw in a shout-out to some of my best friends on here, :iconsamarkana: and :icondetective-barricade: and :iconcollinsj12: and :iconkaizori-chan:. I'm going to ask for some input in terms of their characters, but I've got WACKY PLANS.

This story/series will be referencing lots of Dungeons & Dragons stuff, including some supplemental material from third-party publishers. It's 3.5 edition, so it's outdated, but that saves me the trouble of having to convert some old material. Yes, the trixie race really exists, as does the Runt feat (Wrath and Rage is the name of the orc book). No, I don't recommend that you try the build I'm doing here with poor little Marigold; go straight rogue and rack up sneak attack damage. But it wouldn't be funny if our beleaguered protagonist was the Best and Most Awesome, would it?

I hope you enjoy this! I'm going to try to put together character sheets of our principles in case anyone wants to run them--they should be easily transferable to Pathfinder as well. Let me know how you feel in the comments!

Well, this personally puts character creation in a new perspective. I certainly hope the kobold sorcerer I played for my first D&D game way back when was happy with his lot in life (but considering the character was basically a D&D version of Deadpool, I don't think he would have cared all that much). ;P
